Q&A: Britney Amber on Streaming High-Energy Content Beams

After 15 years in the adult industry, Britney Amber has starred in more than 1,250 studio-shot scenes while garnering 300,000 YouTube subscribers, over 330,000 Instagram followers, more than 640,000 Twitter followers and around 335,000 likes on her OnlyFans.

Those stats are proof of her stardom, but what really sets Amber apart is the infectiously high-energy passion she brings to her content and livestreaming.

You can work as much or as little as you want to. But in my opinion, a successful content creator will see opportunities to create everywhere — and if you’re smart, you’ll seize those opportunities.

Whether interacting with fans at events, putting on her weekly Saturday night cam shows or recording in-demand content for premium social media, she is always smiling and practically jumping up and down with excitement. That same high energy keeps her on the lookout for more ways to expand her reach and her brand.

“One of my biggest milestones thus far has been learning how to properly use social media,” Amber shared. “That’s been one of the biggest keys in garnering new fans after all this time I’ve been in the industry … you always have to keep finding ways to make new fans.”

“But the biggest milestone of all has been learning to create my own content,” she continued. “It’s opened up a whole new world for me of control and creativity. It’s taken some time to learn lighting, set design, cameras and editing, but now I can create anything and everything I want, whenever I want.”

And create she does, with a steady output of scenes, streams, social media interactions and sponsored YouTube videos aplenty. Perhaps unsurprisingly, when she hosted the X3 cosplay contest in January, her stage presence was as engaging as the cosplay contestants and garnered just as many cheers.

Now, in this exclusive Cam Star of the Month interview, she reveals the ins and outs of her one-woman franchise, while keeping her eyes locked on an ever-brighter horizon.

XBIZ: What are your primary revenue streams these days?

Amber: First and foremost, OnlyFans or OnlyBritney.com! I produce exclusive content for OF regularly, and give this platform the majority of my time and attention. A close second is YouTube or BritneyAmber.TV. I do many sponsored videos for lingerie and adult toy companies. I also make some money on Pornhub, ManyVids and Feelx. I take the content and livestreams I’ve already shot for OnlyFans and upload them onto multiple platforms.

XBIZ: Discuss your approach to SFW content creation, such as on YouTube.

Amber: I mostly do sponsored videos for lingerie and adult toy companies. I will do try-on hauls with the lingerie, as PG as possible because YouTube is strict about nudity. When I’m reviewing a toy, I promote the company and any promotional offers they give me. I read the box and directions to figure out how to use it and then turn it on to see it in action, but I never actually use it.

XBIZ: What kind of independent content do your fans most often request?

Amber: I get a lot of requests for JOIs and MILF scenes. MILF scenes definitely get the most views for me on PornHub. Oh, I also get a lot of dick ratings requests. It seems guys really like to show me their dicks … and I like to see them!

XBIZ: How do you achieve a work/life balance?

Amber: It’s easy to achieve any type of work/life balance you want when you are a content creator. You can work as much or as little as you want to. But in my opinion, a successful content creator will see opportunities to create everywhere — and if you’re smart, you’ll seize those opportunities.

XBIZ: Talk about your favorite hobbies.

Amber: My current favorite hobby is collecting Pokemon cards. I got back into the hobby pretty heavy about three years ago, but originally started collecting back in ’99. I still have most of my cards from back then. Before the pandemic, I was an archer and bow hunter for many years, but when everything closed, collecting cards was the easiest hobby to fall back into.

XBIZ: How do you handle marketing of your content and brand?

Amber: I have a partner that helps me daily with social media and marketing. I also have a publicist that helps a lot with building my brand. Most importantly, I try to be active on all social media platforms to keep my fans interested and engaged, and to keep them informed on everything I do and everything I create.

XBIZ: What other stars inspire you or offer supportive friendship?

Amber: Everyone I meet has something to offer no matter how new or seasoned they are. I met a woman recently that just started creating content a few months ago. She told me what she normally shoots that sells best, and I picked up something that I never thought to shoot before.

XBIZ: How was it hosting the cosplay contest at X3?

Amber: Hosting the cosplay contest was so much fun! I had so many people stop me afterward to tell me how great I did and that I should make a career out of hosting! I do feel completely in my zone when hosting, like it’s something I’m made for. Hopefully I’ll be hosting again next year — or maybe even the award show one day.

XBIZ: Discuss your most ambitious goals for the coming year and beyond.

Amber: I want a million subscribers on YouTube. If it wasn’t for the hurdles I have to jump through on a regular basis being an adult star on that platform, with their age restrictions, shadow-banning and strikes, I feel I would be there by now. Nevertheless, I’m going to keep pushing and I know if I stay relentless, I will break through the barriers! I also eventually want to start my own adult film company or create content for other performers. I enjoy all aspects of the content creation process, especially from the other side of the camera.
